Royal Soldier Chainmail - Natural Finish

As a top-trained soldier in the King’s Guard you need the finest of armour in order to stand proud by His Majesty’s throne. Epic Armoury’s Royal Soldier Chainmail is a flexible mail armour shirt made from flat riveted linked steel rings. Each ring interlocks with four other rings in a 4-in-1 design. The mail covers the body from the shoulder to the thighs, and has short sleeves protecting the upper arm. All edges are leather bound but the bottom one, and the shirt opens up in front with six brass-buckled leather straps allowing you to slip into your mail much easier, than if you had to slide it over your head. Expect this armour to last a long time as reenactment gear with proper leather and metal care.

SMALL CHAINMAIL?

This chainmail comes in sizes S to XXXL, but we don't have the small listed as a standard item most of the time because it is VERY small. We find 95% of people who order a small return it, realising it is better suited to a young adult. However, feel free to get in contact if you think you might actually need a small.

MAINTENANCE

Note: The Soldier Chainmail Shirt is stored oiled. When first using the chain you will need to thoroughly clean it down to remove the excess oil.
