Founded in 2009, Larp Inn is a small, family-run business dedicated to supporting the UK and international LARP community. We operate from our central warehouse in Telford, just off the M54, where all of our crafting, packing, and dispatch takes place.
From this workshop, we design, produce, and ship LARP equipment in all shapes and sizes—serving players, organisers, and traders both across the UK and worldwide. Alongside our warehouse operations, we also maintain a small showroom and gaming space, allowing customers to see products up close and connect with the community that inspired them.
Our Origin Story
Like many great ideas, Larp Inn began as a very small operation. The first “premises” was little more than a cupboard, where Jamie sold fantasy jewellery and prosthetics from a handful of shelves. Alongside a full-time career in website development and graphic design, Jamie poured his spare time into building what would become Larp Inn, applying his technical skills to create a professional online presence from day one.
As demand grew, so did the product range. By 2010, Larp Inn expanded into a decidedly ambitious 8ft x 8ft shed, which at the time felt enormous. One weapon rack became several; shelves filled quickly; drawers refused to close. Before long, deliveries were being unpacked outdoors simply because there was no room left inside.
This improvised setup endured until 2014, when Larp Inn attended its first outdoor trade event. The scale of the display—tables, tents, clothing rails, and stock—made it clear that the business had outgrown its backyard origins.
The next move was a tiny shop at Maws Craft Centre, providing space for Larp Inn’s first dedicated showroom. With crafting benches set up at the rear, Jamie also began producing a limited range of handmade leather goods. As this in-house product line expanded, so did the need for a larger workshop. Larp Inn soon moved to an indsutrial unit with plenty of space - so we thought.
In 2017, Harriett joined the team—and almost immediately identified what had become impossible to ignore: the premises were too small for Larp Inn’s ambitions. With fresh perspective and a clear vision for growth, plans were quickly set in motion.

Less than six months later, Larp Inn relocated to a warehouse three times the size of the previous space. The move provided room not only to expand stock and operations, but to purpose-build dedicated areas including a gaming space, leather workshop, office, and significantly increased storage, while still retaining a customer-facing showroom.
This warehouse remains Larp Inn’s home today—supporting both continued growth and the community-focused approach that has defined the business from the beginning.

Meet the Staff

Jamie
Questionably the boss, unquestionably the ideas man. Jamie handles leatherworking, graphic design, and the inevitable “how do we fix this?” moments. When he’s not working, you’ll find him hiking, reading, running far too many D&D games, or indulging his love of cinema as a proud and unapologetic film nerd.

Harriett
The actual boss. Harriett keeps everything running smoothly with formidable organisational skills, customer service, and a keen artistic eye—especially when it comes to painting and finishing work. Outside of Larp Inn, she enjoys hiking, playing music, (also) playing too much D&D, and enthusiastically flinging herself around a pole.
