RFB Arm Protection - Polyurea Plate Armour

The Epic Armoury Ready For Battle Arm Protection guards the forearms against lucky sword strikes and the occasional wayward arrow, now molded in Polyurea (PU) at a fraction of the steel weight. Its clean, simple vambrace shape carries across almost any genre or character, from grizzled mercenary to noble guard, making it one of the most versatile pieces you can add to a kit.

Because it is molded rather than forged, the weight drops dramatically, making it ideal for long event days, junior fighters, and performers who want the steel look without the strain. Each vambrace is held in place with two full grain leather straps for a secure, adjustable fit, and the neutral styling pairs easily with the rest of your armor.

FIT, ADJUSTMENT & CARE

• The strap system handles most sizing on its own, but for a closer fit, you can gently reshape the material itself using heat. Apply heat to the inside of the piece rather than the painted exterior, so the material becomes flexible without damaging the finish.
• Finish: The base material underneath the painted surface is black, so over time, scratches and general wear may reveal this black colour underneath.
• Easy touch-ups: Minor cosmetic damage, such as scuffs or scratches can be simply repaired at home using a primer and acrylic hobby paints (such as Army Painter or Citadel).
• Leather care: The leather straps should be maintained like any other full-grain leather product, with occasional conditioning to keep them supple and long-lasting. Read more about caring for leatherwork here.
