We want you to be happy with your goods. If you change your mind about a product, you are welcome to return your item for a refund or an exchange. Here’s how it works:

"I’ve changed my mind, and I want to cancel my order."

If you want to cancel your order and we haven’t marked the order status as “Dispatched”, just contact us and let us know. Provided your package hasn't been shipped, we’ll simply cancel the order and refund your money. There may be a small fee to cover the card charges applied to us for the cancellation.


"I’ve received my item, but I want to send it back."

If a product arrives and you decide you don't want to keep it, you have 14 days to return the item from the date it was delivered.

Just let us know via email that you want to send it back. We’ll supply you with a returns number so you can fill in the Returns Form. Package the items securely and send them back to us, remembering to include the Returns Form so we can process the package when it arrives.

When we receive the item, we’ll refund you the value of the product. We can also give you store credit or exchange it for another item. Just let us know and we’ll work with you to provide a happy solution.

Where a product has been specially ordered for you, customised, or handmade, we’re unable to refund or offer an exchange unless the item is faulty. We’re also unable to accept cancellations for these orders unless you contact us within 48 hours of placing the order.

"You sent me the wrong item."

Oops — accidents do occasionally happen. Just let us know and we’ll get the correct item sent out straight away. Sorry about that!

We will ask you to return the incorrect item in most cases, but we'll work to make that as easy as possible for you.


"Is my item suitable for the LARP system I attend?"

You will need to make your own judgement based on the guidelines provided by your club or game. Inspect the item when it arrives and feel free to return it within 14 days if you believe it is unsuitable for your system.

If you go and play with it for the weekend, it is considered used and is no longer eligible for return. The same applies if you practice fighting with a weapon — it becomes used and cannot be returned.

Remember, not everything we sell is LARP safe. We do try to highlight this in the product description. As well as selling items for LARP, we cater to theatre, film, and cosplay, which may have different requirements. Please bear this in mind.


"This item doesn't look like the picture."

Though we do always try to represent products correctly, images used on the website are for illustration purposes only. Colour shades of leather, fabric, and latex-painted items may vary, particularly given many items are handmade from natural matierals. As an example, the brown item will be brown, but the shade may be lighter or darker depending on the batch.

Please note, we only supply the item advertised - accessories, additional costume or props are not included.

You have 14 days to return the item unused if you are unhappy with the item received. 


"Do I have to pay return postage?"

Sadly, we're a small family business. As such, the buyer is responsible for retun postage on any items that they no longer want.


"My item is damaged."

If an item arrives damaged, get in touch, and we'll work to replace or refund the item. You will need to return the damaged product to us, but we'll cover return postage and any postage costs for sending out the replacement.

If you damage your item — and you weren’t mistreating it — we’ll do our best to work with you to work out why it broke. We may require proof of the damage.

Items that have been badly treated or put under undue stress will not be replaced. LARP weapons are made of foam and latex. They are durable, not indestructible — you don’t break a weapon core with a little “light sparring”! If you throw it at the floor, hit a wall with it, spill acid on it, fall on it, or get alien hell slime on it, these are all your responsibility. Please don’t try to make us pay for your mistakes. (If you can prove it really is alien hell slime, we may agree to refund you!)

We trust you on this one. If it’s damaged because you were rough with it, please play fair and don’t blame us. But if it is a genuine construction fault, we’ll do our best to fix the problem for you.

Larp Inn reserves the right to make the final decision on the repair or refund of damaged goods.


"I ordered something, and it’s waiting for stock."

All items on our site list their availability and current stock levels in the product description. While we can occasionally make a mistake or someone else may buy the last item at the same time, stock levels are usually accurate.

If we don’t have the item, the description will state the usual lead time before shipment. Occasionally there are delays with a supplier. If you have any queries, just ask.

You can cancel at any time, and you can return the item up to 14 days after you receive it.

If you do not inform us that you wish to return an item within the 14-day limit, it is considered accepted by you and is no longer eligible for return.


Other things to remember...

  • Items are not eligible for return (regardless of damage or wear and tear) after 12 months from purchase.
  • You must provide proof of purchase when requesting a return.
  • Refunds are at the discretion of Larp Inn.
  • Used items may not be returned.
  • Items damaged through improper or careless use, in the opinion of Larp Inn, are not eligible for return.
  • In the case of an exchange, alternative goods will not be dispatched until the original item has been returned and received by us.
  • Items returned without a completed Returns Form and returns number will not be processed.
