Sylleth Spell Book - Leather Journal

Sylleth watches as his owl, Kira, takes to the night sky and banks over the high city walls. He's been searching for months now. Every night he takes to the streets, moving block by block. Reaching into the leather pouch at his side he pushes aside his spell book and scrolls, pulling a forked twig from the contents. With a whisper of arcane enchantment he feels the spell take hold - Locate Object - but, still he can't sense the book near.

He strides to the outer walls, pressing a thin hand against the cool stone. The book is out there, you sense it in your gut, but your spell still doesn't pick up any trace of the artifact. With a sigh, you slip the forked twig back into your pouch and head for the city gates.
