RFB Breastplate - Silver

New product

Epic Armoury’s Ready for Battle Breastplate is a handmade cuirass designed to protect the front of the torso and abdomen. The plate rests at the hips and has a small flange--or sword turner--that deflects blows from the weak spot where torso and leg armour fit together. Sculpted to fit the body and add structural strength to the steel, this simple armour piece is fully usable with other Epic Armoury metal products.

More info

Someone might say that you are a cruel person. The truth is that you aren’t cruel--but you certainly aren’t a hero, either. The Battle of Delle is not one for your homeland or for your own people, but the pay is good and the fighting even better.

Life as a mercenary has made you into a hardened and effective warrior, and while some call it ‘luck’ when your enemy’s sword slides off your RFB Breastplate armour, you call it strategy. After all, now your enemy’s heart is a wide open target.

Secure the RFB Breastplate by tightening the 4 cm wide leather straps across the back, keeping the breastplate in place over your gambeson. Made of polished 1 mm thick mild steel and top-grain leather straps and fittings, this armour piece is built to withstand the abuse of a LARP or reenactment with regular leather and metal armour care.

Available in sizes Small, Medium, Large and X Large.
