Battle Axe - 34in - LARP

Write Review
Quick Overview

Never go into battle before first tasting your favorite ale. That is the advice you would give any of your fellow Dwarves, for you never know when this may be your last fight.

You slam your Battle Axe onto the table as you await the finest dark ale you know. The tavern was quiet before you walked inside, tense with the anticipation of a coming war, but you are loud and bring life back to its walls. You raise a toast to the barkeep and to any nearby, granting them glory on the battlefield before drinking deeply from your mug.

It would be a true shame to leave this world while thirsty.

DETAILS

Epic Armoury’s Battle Axe is the proper weapon for Northern Dwarven warriors. With a solid crescent-shaped head curving back towards the wood-textured haft, this axe is made to be effective in close-combat. The head has a long curved 36 cm edge, and its 16 cm width is secured to the haft by a large gold plate. The total length of the weapon is 80 cm, with a sculpted pommel and a 25 cm handle bound in split-leather.

Made from durable closed cell foam around a solid fibreglass core and finished with a strong latex coating, you can feel confident that your LARP weapon will provide the safety and appeal you want when crafting your battlefield kit.

  • Durable foam
  • High safety
  • Strong coating
  • Round flexible glass fibre core
  • Strong Kevlar core tip protection
  • Closed celled foam that does not shred
  • Length - Aprox 34" / 85cm

Maintenance:
We recommend regular maintenance of latex coated weapons with silicone spray. The silicone will keep the coating flexible and make the weapons last much longer. The maintenance silicone protects the coating from drying out, and helps the weapon resist wear and tear.

Spray the silicone directly on your latex weapon and work it in on the entire surface. Avoid leather handles, and other non-latex or varnish elements. You can never use too much silicone.

Latex LARP weapons should only be used for their intended purpose. Never rest your weapon on its tip or use it to for stabbing attacks.
