Although they aren’t numerous, the legions of the Abyssal Dwarfs are as disciplined and effective as any other fighting force. With arms and armour comparable to their more noble kin, reinforced by the enchantments of the Iron-Casters, they are tough foes to face on the battlefield.
The pious warriors of Basilean march to war with the power of the gods at their backs. Angelic Elohi soar high above the battlefield, while the warrior-monks
of the Paladins use their divine magic to heal the wounded and smite the wicked.
Short in stature but as unyielding as the mountains themselves, the Dwarfs are a proud and noble people who attach a great deal of importance to heritage and custom. It is a naïve opponent indeed who does not acknowledge the Dwarf talents for war.
One of the oldest of the civilised races, the Elves have mastered warfare as they have every other pastime to which they turn their minds.
Druids commune with the very energies of nature, commanding its raw power and the respect of the creatures of the forests and wild places of the world. This starter force allows you to field a small force led by such a druid, as he strikes forth from the glades.
An ancient empire punished for its hubris and fall into chaos. The cursed peoples of the Ahmunites are now a nightmare that haunt the parched, unforgiving lands of the south.
The Abyss is a strange other-realm, populated by wicked creatures locked in an eternal battle with each other. Whenever they are directed to fight the outside world, it is a time of woe for all civilised races, for the Abyssals recognise no allies.
Goblin armies are made up of disparate clans from across Pannithor, typically brought together by the delusions of an individual goblin determined to rise to the lofty position of the goblin king. Goaded and pushed into battle by their superiors, what goblins (severely) lack in training and tactics, they make up for in sheer strength of numbers.
The Nightstalkers are the dreams, nightmares, fears, and horrors of mortals made manifest. Although their incursions into our realm are thankfully rare, the devastation caused by such events is absolute on both a physical and emotional level.
An alliance of outcasts hailing from the frozen north and united by a common purpose. Northern Alliance Warbands include a wide variety of soldiers, from half-elves and ice Naiads to the lumbering snow trolls.
Ogres are mercenaries, happy to sell their skills to the highest bidder. Huge, powerful creatures that might almost have been purpose-bred for war, few races can match them for sheer belligerent power and endurance, and many a war has been won by the side that hired the most. This set gives you enough Ogres to commence your raiding and pillaging of the world.
Orcs live for war in a quite literal sense, having been bred for that very purpose by the machinations of an evil god. Over the centuries, they have developed neither culture nor civilisation, busy as they are locked in eternal battle with anything in reach, including each other.
The Trident Realms are proud and territorial, and can commit to violence with little provocation. The lord of any land-bound territory would be wise to treat their inlets and coasts cautiously, lest they stir the fierce Neriticans who claim them as their own.
The dead do not rest easy in Mantica, for there are those who would use them as macabre puppets to fulfil their own mortal ends. Skeletal foot troops and cavalry shamble onwards in a relentless tide, overwhelming any who stand in their path.
From the volcanic island known as the Three Kings come the Salamanders. Reptiles whose blood burns with magical heat, they are formidable warriors who can be found across Panni-thor. Each Salamander is covered in toughened scales which are as effective as plate armour and sharp claws and teeth that can rend flesh. This all combines to make them fearsome warriors.
The Halflings have split from the League of Rhordia. While relations have been rebuilt, the Shirefolk are now responsible for their own defence and have organised their army under the expert eye of Aeron Cadwallader, their greatest modern hero. Combining their engineering talents with their skills in archery and poaching, the trained bands of professional soldiers and their support units pose an unexpected and formidable barrier to any who threaten the peace of the Shires.

The dread curse of Lycanthropy turns its victims into huge wolf-man hybrids – their flesh nigh-invulnerable to most weapons, their fangs and claws razor-sharp. These children of the night move faster than the eye can see and fight with a ferocity and strength which far surpass their mortal victims.
The Ba’su’su the Vile Set contains 1 metal miniature, from Mantic Games, for your fantasy battle wargames and dioramas. This set contains a legendary hero for Kings of War, including:
Regiments of battle-hardened Dwarf Ironclads form the core units of a hold’s army. They are tough, resilient and stubborn, presenting an unmoving shieldwall of impenetrable armour to the enemy. They specialise at weathering charges, letting the foe come to them where they can fight on their own terms with their heavy hammers and axes. They are led into...
Water Elementals are the spirits of brooks, rivers and the oceans themselves in physical form. To protect their homes they take to the battlefield and fall upon their enemies with the fury of the rising tide.
Earth elementals are a primal force of nature, risen from the ground by ancient rites and powerful magics. The very earth shudders under their footfalls when they march to war.
When conjured to the battlefield by sorcery, these burning warriors are difficult to control. Heat and rage radiates from their molten forms as they set about incinerating anything within their path, only stopping when their energy has burnt out, or at the command of their summoner.
These elementals are a rarity in Pannithor, able to be summoned only in the frozen northern realms. Sustained by the magic of the Ice Kin or the clan magi, these magically transformed water elementals can subsequently be led to war in any environment.
The most fearless, or deranged, Lords or Thegns hunt alone for sport to prove their right to lead and their skill in the hunt. The ultimate prize for these brave, or fool-hardy, individuals is to capture a Frostfang to use as their mighty battle-mount.
The humans of the north are tougher and stronger than those in the south. They regularly take to the battlefield hefting great two-handed weapons, trusting to their hardy constitution and thick armour to deflect damage long enough to get them within arm’s reach of their foes – who are then brutally cleaved in two.
